Yesterday, when I was reading an email (Kerygma mailing list) about patience, suddenly Holy Spirit reminded me of this scripture:
Exodus 14:
18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided
I just thought, actually God could make the sea dry land and divided the water just in a blink of an eye. I mean, He is God... He created the earth land with the grass and trees and fruits, plus the seas in just one day! Dividing waters in one sea should be easier and faster... but why did it take all night?
I don't know the answer, only God knows what He has done...
and I just think that only God knows what He is doing now in my life...
Well... honestly... lately (it's been a few months really) I have questions in my mind... God wants me to learn some lessons for sure... and when I think about the scripture, plus I read a good quote that said, "Be patient just as God is patient." Then I think about all events when God really shows His unbelievable patience to human... I just speechless... This is just as usual, He always make me speechless and amazed by His way to keep me think about Him... ^.^
Then just now, He reminded me again about Joseph.
When I was in Lippo Cikarang (my previous chapter of life), God also reminded me of Joseph. My journey is kind of similar with his journey. When I was in Lippo Cikarang, I thought it's similar with times when Joseph was separated from his beloved Father (I was separated from my family and all the familiar things before) and taken to a totally strange land. That was so similar (except the fact that I wasn't sold as a slave like Joseph =p). But I work there, and eventually find my interest in writing and internet.
Now... when few months ago I began to questioning about my current work, I was reminded about Joseph (again!) when he was thrown into the jail for a crime he didn't commit (he was accused for raping attempt to Potiphar's wife). In the jail, Joseph met the king's personal servant and chief cook. After he told the meaning of their dreams, he said to them as his own effort to get out of the jail, "But when these good things happen, please don't forget to tell the king about me, so I can get out of this place. I was kidnapped from the land of the Hebrews, and here in Egypt I haven't done anything to deserve being thrown in jail." Joseph just want to be free, and it's a fair demand because he didn't do the crime. Just be free from the jail, it's a simple request, is it too much to ask?
But what is the result of his own effort? It is said in Genesis 40:22-23, "Everything happened just as Joseph had said it would, but the king's personal servant completely forgot about Joseph." (Don't you think it's a bit illogical? I mean, how could he forgot about Joseph after what Joseph had predicted really happened in reality??? It's really God's intervention)
Joseph had to spend 2 more years in the jail before God make a way for Joseph to get out of jail (not just get out, but a lot more that just be a free man!) and promoted to be governor of all Egypt! What a day! That happened in just one day!
I see that one big difference in Genesis 41:16, "Your Majesty," Joseph answered, "I can't do it myself, but God can give a good meaning to your dreams.
Two years before, Joseph defended himself and protested about his condition, about things that considered unfair by his own judgement... He did all he could to be free, but nothing happened until God said that it was time for him to get out and fulfill his destiny...
I have to admit... I did what Joseph did... I tried to defend myself to others, I thought that what I'm going through right now is not fair... this is not what I expect... this is not what I deserve... I ask questions to God... But the result is nothing... There are days when I can control myself to be content and grateful, but there are also days when I'm still questioning, "What am I doing here, really?" ...like today...
God has His own reasons, and I believe it's a very good reason, He has a special purpose in my life, just as everyone else's life... and I know that there's nothing I can do to make Him move before its time... there's nothing I can do to make Him open a new way for me to escape from my process of character molding... He doesn't want me to (just) be a free person, He wants me to fulfill my destiny, a bigger purpose, just like Joseph.
Thank you God... I don't know what lies ahead of me... but like my friend's status on Facebook (I'm really amazed by His ways, He can remind me through anything!), I say:
"I'm grateful for everything that had happened, for everything that is happening now, and for everything that will be happen... because I know You're The One who holds my future..."

Redirect to myfamily.com?
Ada yang ngalamin ga kalo buka website tertentu munculnya malah myfamily.com? URL address-nya memang diawali dengan nama website yang semuka kita ketik, tapi di belakangnya ada /isapi.... Aku ngalamin sejak kemaren, sampe bingung ni kenapa coz ada beberapa website yang jadinya ga bisa dibuka coz langsung redirect ke myfamily.com.
Dari tadi pagi googling nemunya solusi bahasa Inggris, which is sangat membingungkan secara itu bahasanya komputer banget hehehe... Akhirnya dapet solusinya dari kaskus 'n juga salah satu blog. Rupanya, ini bukan virus, spyware, atau malware. Ini serangan DNS ke DNS server punya Indosat, coz yang ngalamin ini di Indonesia memang kebanyakan yang pake Indosat (aku juga pake Indosat).
Coba pake cara ini :
- Klik kanan pada "My Network Place", klik kanan pada koneksi internet yg dipake
trus pilih "Properties", pilih tab "Networking", klik "Properties", pilih "use the folowing
DNS server addresses" masukkan : Prefered DNS Server = 202.67.222.222 dan Alternate DNS Server = 208.67.220.220
Kalo belum bisa juga ganti DNS nya di aplikasi broadband
- Klik tools, klik options, pilih profile management, klik edit, pada DNS Setting pilih "statik"
masukkan Primary DNS dan Secondary DNS dgn IP diatas

Wanna Be Invisible
If there's a time when I want to be invisible, that time is now... I had a terrible acne problem... I think it's because I didn't use Sanex Facial Foam anymore (I used it since I was in college and I had no problem at all - but lately I can't get that product anywhere, looks like it isn't being produced anymore). So I use Clean & Clear, and that's when the acne starts to spread T_T Now I'm trying to use La Tulipe facial foam + the acne lotion + the acne care gel, but still there is no improvement... Ow and I'm drinking Grape Seed Plus - 2 tablets twice a day - I decided to give it a try because my friend who used to have very very terrible acne on her face is getting better after she consumed it for about 3 months, and she keep consuming the Grape Seed tablets to aim a better skin result (until the acne marks disappear completely). Well... I think I'm gonna wait... If all this doesn't work... maybe I have to go to a dermatologist... T_T But I hope not, coz it must be very expensive (include the consultation fee, the medicine, the treatment... sigh...) I hope my face is recovering soon... Anyone has acne problems or and has been cured? Would you care to share?

The Truths About Having Cats
KOMPAS.com - Ada banyak alasan untuk memelihara kucing. Dan, ada banyak pula alasan untuk menundanya. Faktor kesetiaan kucing menjadi pertimbangan. Ada yang bilang, kucing hanya setia pada rumah majikan, ketimbang pemiliknya.
"Kucing yang saya bawa pulang dari klinik lebih mengenal mobil saya daripada rumah saya. Itulang keunikan kucing: setia akan tempat yang sudah dikenalnya," kata Drh.Cut Nurmaini, dokter hewan sekaligus pemilik Klinik Hewan Veterinary Surgeon, Bekasi.
Sebenarnya, karakter kucing yang manja memudahkan pemeliharaannya, karena tak butuh pemeliharaan yang repot. Cukup dengan disayang, disentuh dan dibelai, kucing sudah jadi hewan peliharaan yang manis. Secara mendetail, karakter kucing sendiri bergantung pada ras dan jenisnya, serta faktor hormon yang diberikan selama pemeliharaan.
Namun kucing sering dikaitkan dengan pemicu datangnya penyakit seperti asma, alergi, dan toksoplasma. Menurut Drh.Cut, asma secara logis berhubungan dengan kotoran dan debu yang beterbangan. Memang benar, bulu kucing bisa membuat kita bersin-bersin. Tapi itu bisa jadi hanya pada masa-masa awal kehadiran kucing di rumah. Setelah itu, kita akan terbiasa.
Sedangkan untuk kasus toksoplasma, bisa dibilang virusnya agak unik dan berkembang di dalam tubuh kucing dengan sempurna. Tapi, jangan panik dulu. Fakta tadi tidak bisa kita jadikan patokan bahwa semua kucing pasti terinfeksi toksoplasma.
"Toksoplasma dikeluarkan bersama kotoran kucing dan tidak setiap saat. Ada waktu-waktu tertentu oosit toksoplasma dikeluarkan bersama kotoran. Bahkan, kasus toksoplasma lebih banyak terjadi pada binatang pemakan daging mentah atau setengah matang. Pada kambing, misalnya, kemungkinan terinfeksi toksoplasma adalah 80 persen," jelas Drh.Cut.
Memegang atau menyentuh kucing pun tidak lantas langsung membuat kita terinfeksi. Menurut Cut, setidaknya dibutuhkan waktu sekitar lima hari untuk bisa tertular toksoplasma.
Yang perlu dicermati dari penyakit kucing yang bisa menular adalah scabies, yang disebabkan oleh kutu. Kontak langsung akan mengakibatkan kita terinfeksi kutu ini. "Hal ini juga bisa terjadi pada mereka yang memiliki hewan peliharaan kelinci," katanya.
Supaya Anda tak ragu memelihara kucing, coba ikuti tip dari Drh.Cut tentang pemeliharaannya:
1. Bersihkan kotoran kucing segera. Siram dengan air, lalu cuci dengan sabun. Hindari kontak langsung dengan kotoran, sebaiknya pakai sarung tangan.
2. Hindari memberi makanan mentah pada kucing. Berikan makanan yang telah dimasak atau makanan khusus untuk kucing.
3. Berikan vaksin pada kucing setahun sekali. Ini berlaku bagi kucing dari berbagai jenis, baik yang berbulu panjang maupun pendek. "Vaksin yang saya berikan biasanya Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, dan Panleukopenia. Sedangkan vaksin Rabies wajib diberikan kepada kucing, sesuai dengan undang-undang. Ibaratnya, tak ada ampun bagi hewan yang sudah terinfeksi Rabies," katanya.
Agar anak-anak bisa berinteraksi dengan kucing kesayangannya tanpa harus membuat kita khawatir, utamakan selalu kebersihan. Ajarkan mereka untuk selalu mencuci tangan setelah memegang, menyentuh, atau bermain-main dengan kucing. Jika semua ini terpenuhi, kucing menjadi hewan yang aman dipelihara. Bahkan untuk Anda dengan anak usia balita.

Unpredictable
Life is unpredictable
That is the most common fact
You really can't predict your future based on the present time.
You can't predict of who you will become in the future based on who you are right now.
Remember the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to become a butterfly.
Do you see any body property of a caterpillar that shows you that he will (definitely) someday become a butterfly?
No signs at all!
But yet every caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.
Remember Joseph's promotion to be a second Egypt leader after he stayed in the jail for a crime he didn't commit.
Do you see any clear signs of Joseph's former condition as a prisoner that makes you think he will be able to get out of the jail and become an important person second to Pharaoh?
No positive signs at all!
Even the chief wine-servant and the chief bread-maker were totally forgot about him after they have been released...
But yet, at its time, Joseph was promoted to be a second leader after Pharaoh.
Even in God, our life is still unpredictable...
But He had promised:
"For without doubt there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off."
(Proverbs 23:18)
and...
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
(Rome 8:28)
...as long as we keep following Him.
He is able
...and nothing is impossible in His plan for us.
Jiayou!!!

Nothing Else Really Matters
When you realized that time has no brake
He will keep moving on without a care of what you want
When you count the running seconds
They have their own race without your compromise
You know you can't deny it
and you can't do anything to stop it
The only thing you can do is to find
What is the most precious thing in your life
So you won't miss it
...won't let it slips away
It's your family...
Your dad who leads you, teaches you, and gives you courage to live boldly
Your mom who gave birth to you, takes care of you, and always support you
Your siblings who share early life under the same roof...
When you know that you don't have much time left
You will know instantly....
That nothing else really matters to you
Not the things, but the beloved people matters most
...So use your time wisely...
